Construction Project Tracking

Commercial construction projects are large, expensive fast moving operations and generally have multiple parties/stakeholders who need to be kept up to speed on project progress on a regular basis. E-mailing, calling multiple parties (generally the project managers responsibility) is time consuming and takes away his/her attention from the project.

Enter a Drone (UAV) with a quality HDR camera and a quality drone services company which can generate  still and video images and if necessary edit them suit your particular need. Use these images to convey project status to multiple stakeholders and allow them to views updates at their leisure, on phone or on laptop.  Take the same base video and edit it to suit a marketing project to get and keep your viewers interested.

A quality drone has virtually take over from the low resolution web cam installed on site (which must be maintained and moved during the build) and needs a quality internet connection to provide the required images.

The drone provides a far superior image for your updates and also has the advantage that it can generally be flown/piloted from off site, one less liability problem to worry about.

City of Half Moon Bay

This project is designed to capture images (video & still) in order to track the progress of the construction of the Main Library at Correas St, Half Moon Bay.

Presenting in Pixels was contacted by the general contractor for the project, we met onsite, went over a list of requirements and capabilities and flew a test run capturing videos and images which were used for review by City of HMB and the contractor.

This is a construction tracking project using a drone to capture video and still images based on a set shoot list on a bi-weekly basis, these images are then uploaded to a shared folder for review and allow the city to convey progress to stakeholders and residents alike.
